FaxCommand Terms of Service

1. The service
FaxCommand is a metadata monitor. You connect fax vendor accounts you already have. We pull numerical metadata and fax numbers (job counts, pages, statuses, timestamps, line and destination numbers). We do not send or receive faxes and we do not store fax documents (no PDF, TIFF, or page images).
Vendor APIs remain the vendor’s. Their outages, rate limits, retention, and invoices are not ours.
2. Accounts
You must be able to bind a work email, accept these terms at signup, and keep credentials accurate. 15-day trial is full Enterprise, then Free unless you subscribe. Free: 1 vendor, 5 enabled lines, owner plus 3 teammates, one daily summary, no volume alerts. Enterprise is $49.95/month as listed on the site. Seat, line, and feature gates may change with notice.
You are responsible for vendor credentials you store with us. We encrypt them at rest; we are not liable if a vendor account is misused with keys you supplied.
3. Acceptable use
Use FaxCommand for vendor accounts you are allowed to connect, and stay inside your plan. Do not try to get around plan limits, access controls, or rate limits. Do not refresh or poll by hand more often than the product allows, and do not script that. Do not probe, disrupt, or otherwise misuse the service or a connected vendor. Do not use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or that puts the service or a vendor at risk.
4. Estimates and reports
Cost figures are estimates only. They are not the vendor invoice and will not match billing cutoffs. CSV and email reports are informational.
5. No warranty / limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS. UMBRAWHITE, LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST FAXES, VENDOR CHARGES, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT FEES YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR THREE MONTHS (OR $49.95 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).
6. Indemnity
You indemnify UmbraWhite, LLC for claims arising from your vendor accounts, your users, or your misuse of metadata.
7. Fees, failed payment, and refunds
Enterprise is billed in advance for each billing period. No refunds. You may cancel at any time, and your service will run until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund unused time.
To cancel, email inquire@umbrawhite.com with the subject Cancel Fax Command.
If a payment fails, you have 3 days to cure it. If you do not cure the failed payment within those 3 days, we may close your account.
8. Termination
Either party may stop at any time. We delete your data within 72 hours of termination. We hold it for those 72 hours so you can reinstate the account, then we delete it. Vendor credentials are not returned in recoverable form. Deleting our copy does not change the vendor’s archive.
9. No HIPAA
FaxCommand is not a HIPAA service. We do not store protected health information (PHI). We do not store fax documents, and we do not store fax metadata other than usage (counts) and fax numbers. We do not offer or sign a Business Associate Agreement.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue and jurisdiction are the state and federal courts in Sheridan, Wyoming.
